Post-Construction Cleaning Pricing in San Jose & Santa Clara County

Surface Care & Specialty Detailing

• Paint drips and splatters are gently removed only when it can be done without scratching or dulling new finishes.
• Any cured paint, grout haze, caulking smudges, or residue that appears permanent is flagged before we proceed.
• Drywall dust and fine debris are captured using sealed HEPA-filter vacuums.
• Surfaces are cleaned using mild dish soap, glass cleaner, and pH-neutral floor cleaners to protect floors, counters, and newly installed finishes.
• Adhesive, tape, and sticker residue is reduced or removed when safe, non-damaging products can be used. If stronger solvents are needed, we'll recommend that you consult your contractor first.

Please note: some paint drops, adhesives, or mineral deposits may be permanently bonded to porous materials. Attempting to remove them with harsher methods can lead to damage. If a safe, approved method cannot resolve the issue, we will mark the area and suggest speaking with your contractor about possible refinishing or replacement.

Partially Remodeled Properties

A post-construction cleaning can cover the entire property or only the remodeled and affected areas. Tell us which you need when you book, because it changes both the scope of the work and the time it takes.

The pricing published above primarily accounts for construction dust and residue in a reasonably maintained property. Existing appliances, cabinets, bathrooms, flooring, grout, fixtures, blinds, and other older surfaces may require additional cleaning time. Existing appliances in particular may need construction-dust cleaning as well as deep cleaning of grease, food residue, and previous buildup.

Areas outside the approved cleaning scope are not automatically included, so it helps to tell us up front:

• Which areas were remodeled or affected by the construction work
• Which appliances and surfaces are existing rather than newly installed
• Any non-remodeled areas you would like us to clean

If additional labor is needed due to the condition of existing areas that were not remodeled, we'll always discuss it with you before performing any work beyond the original estimate.

Construction Dust & Accessible Areas

Our post-construction cleaning is designed to significantly reduce construction dust from the safely accessible areas within the approved scope. Accessible areas may include floors, baseboards, doors, trim, window sills and frames, fixtures, countertops, shelving, and empty cabinet and drawer interiors.

We cannot guarantee that the property will be completely dust-free. Our team does not:

• Open walls
• Clean inside HVAC ducts or sealed cavities
• Disassemble fixtures or appliances
• Move heavy items
• Access unsafe or unreachable areas

Dust may remain in hidden areas or resettle after the cleaning is finished. HVAC activity, or contractors returning to the property, can put construction dust back into the air after we leave.

Follow-Up Cleaning

Some properties may require a follow-up cleaning due to the amount of construction dust, the size or condition of the property, dust continuing to settle, or contractors returning after the initial cleaning.

Any follow-up cleaning is a separate service and may involve an additional charge. If we believe another visit is needed, we will explain what remains and discuss the recommended scope with the client.

Additional Information

If active construction is still in progress, additional dust and debris may continue to accumulate after cleaning has been completed. For the best results, we recommend scheduling your cleaning after all construction work has been completed and before the property is occupied or turned over to the client.
